Rotary praises past year’s president (2009 - 2010)
On Tuesday evening, June 29, the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club said, "Thank You" to a really great President, Chris Stokes, and welcomed to our new Rotary Club President John Furgione and Vice President Danielle Colaianni. Under the thoughtful guidance of Chris Stokes, the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club has reached new heights in accomplishments and respect. In September of last year, the "Pedals for Progress" (P4P) program, that is annually hosted by our Rotary Club, was a great success with the collection of nearly 100 bikes. This international program collects bikes and sends them to various foreign countries, so the less fortunate will have a form of transportation. This event was an even greater success because Chris enlisted the help of the Medford Police Department to host a bike rodeo at the same time.

Patrice Malleus P.E. Named President of ASHE SNJ
Stokes Advertising’s own Patrice Malleus has been installed as the President of the American Society of Highway Engineers Southern New Jersey Section. In her own words she says:
"I would first like to thank all of last year’s officers for their hard work and dedication to ASHE. This year we will embark on some new initiatives. Our Safety Committee led by Joe Fiocco is off the ground and running with plans for a special presentation to our section in the fall. As licensed engineers in New Jersey, we will see some changes on the requirements for license renewal in the coming year. The professional societies offer continuing education credits that are required for license renewal. Right now they can be applied to the requirements in other states. Let’s see if New Jersey will accept them as well. I would like to get our Section certified to offer the credits as a benefit to our members. I look forward to leading ASHE Southern New Jersey Section as your President in 2010-2011 season."
